The Love Song of the Invisible

What is less and what is more

Is a question of what’s in store

Do we look through with fear

Or do we soldier on with ongoing cheer?

Too often we think that we cannot

Be until we obtain a thing that was sought.

And is it true that the past is unfair

To those who dare to trust thin air?

Invisibility is a skill I know well

How I learned it, I cannot tell

I grow old, I grow old

But until I die, I will be bold.

So pay attention the next time you look

For the joy that life has took,

Since you know me and I know you

We shall see each other through.
